Wolven Blue is Mete Ege, a professional composer, guitarist, music educator, writer, and a film maker from London, UK.
He studied music theory and performance at G.I.T. in London under Edward Speight, Professor of Jazz, Royal Academy of Music.
Mete started to work as a professional session/performing guitarist and teacher of music right after his graduation. He worked with many well known artists including George Michael with whom he reached a Top 10 success with. He also worked/recorded for many record and broadcast companies including BBC, SKY, ITV,National Geographic, Swan Records etc.
He toured with many shows and artists including The Stars in Their Eyes Show and Toby Bourke. Mete’s band London Blusion released three albums since 2013 and each of them received recognition by being one of the most played albums in the Blues radio stations globally. The last album ‘Three is a Crowd’ won the best album of the month award in 2018 by IBBA (International Blues Broadcasters Association).
Mete Ege was invited to the prestigious Abbey Road Studios in London to perform in 2015. He also performed at many venues and events including Cambridge Rock and Blues Festivals , HRH at 02 Academy Blues and Rock Festival, Great British Guitar Festival etc.
Mete also teaches guitar, bass, music theory, composition, digital music while directing Jazz and Rock Bands at schools including The American School in London. He also co ordinates the National Learn To Play events for Yamaha Music London and runs workshops, product demonstrations for the company. He attends to Frankfurt Musikmesse, Germany as a product demonstrator for many musical instruments and FX companies. He is endorsed by Yamaha Music London (Japan and UK), Line 6 (USA), Chapter Guitars (UK), Katar Custom Guitars (Finland) and Pitbull Strings (Turkey).
Mete performed, collaborated and recorded with George Michael, Toby Bourke, Elliott Randall (Steely Dan), Alex Skolnick (Testament) , Albert Lee ( Eric Clapton etc) and Aaron Liddard (Amy Winehouse)
He also directed many corporate videos and ‘A Traveller’s Gaze’, a three episode TV travel/history/culture documentary series. He co scripted, edited and composed the soundtrack for all the projects.
